Today was interesting, it was people getting to where they wanted to go on a busy Friday lunch, nothing super interesting but I found myself fascinated (easily pleased I know) with people power walking or strutting their stuff…maybe it is just me that saw this, I done;t really know!

Not every photo I take is perfect, I know right hard to believe haha.  Sometimes I see a scene unfold in front of me and I absolutely want that shot no matter what, sure it is not perfectly framed, sure it is a little too far away and busy.  Yes I sometimes crop, I’m not bothered by so-called rules as they don’t apply to my photography, through MY eyes.  Anyways, rambling here…this was todays shot and this is not cropped, though straitened a little to help the world look a little more upright.

I see  man zipping behind the bus with a dancing man in his blue costume on top of his head, what do you see?dancing man

This is a recent photo that’s I REALLY love, and yes of course I love my own work.  It’s a scene I saw walking the streets with my giant D850 with a 50mm, not my usual street camera but anything can work.  It’ full of reflections and scenery through the glass, can you tell them apart?see through

When photographing the streets around Perth, there are a a few locations that you keep going back to as they give you something new each time you go.  I think when I finally nail the shot I will probably not go back, but until then must keep trying…this was todays effort, not bad but I know I can do better!conversation

I went out today in search of motion, yes yes of course I already shoot to many motion photographs but I like them.  I walked a different location that usual and saw these stairs, all I needed now was a little motion and then there was a pair!stair n pair

The morning of @cameraelectronic Photo Live Expo and I arrived 15 mins early, so walked from the car the long way to see if I could capture anything cool in the streets.  Not many peoples out and about, and it was pretty lame but I passed this cool building, and decided to capture a frame when these peoples started walking through my scene…bonus!the wall

Inspired by a recent chat with the local street photography gang here in Perth, I went out today specifically for lunch, no no seriously specifically with some kid of motion in mind.  I wandered around a few different spots and captured a few shots but this was by far my fav. motion

OMG he shot street photography in portrait, what is going to happen…the sky is falling. I’ve done it again and broken the rules of street photography, or was there even such a rule.  I saw this photo, it was down an alley and a taller photo suited the shot, it was even interesting when I saw it though not sure I really captured the moment but here goes anyways.phone break

Never work with children or animals they say, and here I am photographing a kid playing wiht birds.  Brilliant I thought, he will scare the crap out of the birds and they all fly all over the place filling the frame while he runs frantically to his parents…the perfect shot!

Nope…didn’t happen, but I liked how the layers fill the frame, and the way that kid is just standing there just looking at his new friends.birds

W.A. Day here is not so sunny Perth, on the Monday public holiday and I went strolling the streets with my good friends Jessie-n-Rob (they are married I can join their names haha). I snapped a bunch of photos as I usually do and for me, I am trying out posting a lot more in colour now days and I had a series around the donut van that was very bright but I couldn’t decide what I liked.  Posting all three shots up, they all have their pros-n-cons and I will let you all decide…
